Gold Rush Cruises

In the late 19th century, many prospectors were quickly moving throughout the western United States on a search for gold. As this trend spread, many areas of the Pacific Northwest were caught up in this quest to get rich. What followed is now known as the Klondike Gold Rush, which brought more than 100,000 intrepid prospectors to the area. Since this time, gold mining hasn't continued, but the legacy of these brave people survives in the history and culture of the Klondike region.

Follow in the footsteps of prospectors as you take a beautiful Gold Rush Southeast Alaska cruise from American Cruise Lines. This special theme cruise will take you through many of the areas that the Klondike Gold Rush affected, including Skagway, which is home to the Klondike Gold Rush National Park. Guests will also board the historic White Pass Yukon Railroad, the chosen transportation of miners in the 1890s. Learn about the Gold Rush on this illuminating cruise through Alaska's majestic Inside Passage.
