American Cruise Lines operates the newest and most modern fleet of overnight passenger cruise ships. We have thirteen unique itineraries in the Pacific Northwest and along the East Coast of the US from Maine to Florida. We travel along the smooth, inland and coastal waterways visiting unique ports of call along the way. Each ship carries between 50 and 120 passengers and is equipped with the latest safety, navigation, and communications systems. Onboard, we maintain an elegant yet casual atmosphere and offer a very high level of service. Our passengers expect a professional atmosphere, which requires that each crewmember is hardworking, motivated, and friendly.

Working onboard is fun, but it is also hard work. The pace is quick, the hours are long, and you cannot go home at the end of the day. However, the places you see, people you meet, and experiences you receive, can make this an interesting and rewarding job. If you are looking for a unique job experience and are flexible about close living quarters and long days, then this is the job for you.
