Denali National Park
A full-day-and-a-half exploration of this park is featured on our Grand Alaska National Parks and Alaska National Parks Land & Cruise Packages.
First establish as Mount McKinley National Park in 1917, the name was later changed to Denali National Park and Preserve, paying homage to the native Athabaskan people. In 2015, Mount McKinley itself was renamed to Mount Denali, meaning ““mountain-big” as it is North America’s tallest peak. Led by your Adventure Guide view animals large and small, including moose, caribou, bears, Dall sheep, and wolves, which roam the park freely, as they have for ages.
