American Cruise Lines is pleased to announce brand new 15-Day Northwest National Parks cruises operating roundtrip from Tacoma, Washington in September 2026. This bucket-list itinerary explores the Pacific Northwest’s most spectacular parks and ports, featuring 7-days of guided exploration through Mount Rainier, Olympic, and North Cascades National Parks followed by 8-days cruising throughout Puget Sound, Friday Harbor, and the San Juan Islands. American’s Northwest National Parks cruise is the newest addition to the company’s expanding portfolio of U.S. National Parks cruises.

Domestic U.S. Great Lakes cruises are now available. In response to guest demand, American Cruise Lines is proud to announce the debut of three Great Lakes itineraries for the 2026 cruise season. These brand-new cruises, sailing May through August 2026, will be operated aboard American Patriot, the newest small cruise ship in the country.

American Cruise Lines is pleased to announce an expanded fleet and three new itineraries that exemplify what is now possible for world-class river cruising in the U.S. The company is adding capacity and itineraries on the Mississippi River and tributaries, by introducing the first-ever 9-Day Arkansas River Cruise between Tulsa, Oklahoma and Memphis, Tennessee; a new 11-Day Great Smoky Mountains Cruise between Knoxville and Huntsville, Tennessee; and a brand-new 8-Day Gulf Coast Cruise between Pensacola, Florida and New Orleans, Louisiana. All three itineraries include sections of the Mississippi River, where American Cruise Lines now offers 14 itineraries, plus additional themed and holiday cruises. Following a decade of rapid growth, introducing 16 new ships, American continues to innovate, exclusively developing exceptional and unique itineraries for the domestic cruise market.

American Cruise Lines has added a 5th new itinerary to their 2026 collection of Extended Cruises commemorating the country’s 250th anniversary. Next year, from October 8th to November 8th, American’s 32-Day Revolutionary War Cruise will operate between Albany, NY and Washington, D.C. Featuring Revolutionary War experts on board, this patriotic adventure will tell the story of America’s fight for independence as guests sail the Hudson River and sections of the East Coast during the region’s peak fall foliage season. Throughout the cruise, American’s small ships will dock directly in the heart of famous destinations like New York City, Boston, Annapolis, Yorktown, Sleepy Hollow, Newport, Plymouth, and Philadelphia. 

American Cruise Lines christened American Patriot in Newport, Rhode Island last week—celebrating the holiday and simultaneously marking the countdown to the country’s 250th birthday on July 4th, 2026. American Patriot is the first ship in the company’s new Patriot Class—a fleet of new 130-passenger ships designed for exclusively cruising the U.S.A. Patriot Class sister ships, American Pioneer, American Maverick, and American Ranger are soon to launch later this year and into 2026.
